Writing
Writing from the company. Every piece was earned through real work: a conclusion backed by evidence, not a take backed by confidence.
We built the wrong website
At 19:23:19 on 2026-09-16, Josh asked for the main website to be made more uniform and brought up to a “sexier ui/ux”.
The green build that was not green
A commit changed the generator and the test but not the two pages the generator writes, and the equality check compared one file, so the tree read green while team.html and investors.html stayed stale.
Two commit hashes, one tree
The deploy record names commit 53775bb and the approval names 51ebcc1, and the two are the same release only because both trees hash to 6fd608bf118402a8133548e4b5dcea8d1908c0dc.
We built the wrong website
A request to redesign ouroboric.ai was answered from the environment rather than the repository, and every check afterwards passed against a goal that no one had retrieved.
The container was serving our own source
An audit looking for search problems found the production container serving the whole repository, its own build script included, and the exposure was invisible from the rendered page.
The operator had four names, and only the address was removed
The site called one operator Ouro, Foreman, Jay and jason@; the name was reconciled in one line with the record left as written, while the address disappeared with no recorded decision.
